The Kinal Voyager

The Voyager is an unbelievably fantastic sounding instrument. I love the feel and the action, and it is such an easy guitar to play.  This is definitely the guitar for the "authentic" jazz guitar sound of the 50's and 60's. With its incredibly rich fat tone, this guitar sounds great on single-note lines, comping and chord melody.   I've owned many good axes (Gibson 335, 175, Fender Strats, Teles, etc.), but I've never owned a guitar that inspires me to play as much as this one. I look forward to taking it out of the case everyday. It's a work of art!

The guitar body is made out of flame maple back and sides with a spruce top. The neck is figured maple with an ebony fretboard. The machine heads are made by Gotoh with ebony buttons. All fittings such as pickguard and bridge are handmade from ebony. The bracing is a parallel under the top. All the binding is made from wood (maple). This one has a Benedetto pickup.
